Job Title

• Full-time, temporary, 4x10-hour day shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized perioperative nursing care in a busy Level I trauma center OR.
• Circulate and scrub on various surgical procedures including trauma, transplant, orthopedic, neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, including on-call responsibilities and holiday/weekend rotations.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic charting systems.
• Float within scope as needed to support different surgical units and facilities.

Required Qualifications

• Current South Carolina RN license or multi-state/compact RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Radiation badge (to be provided by the agency).
• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work 4 days per week, 10 hours each, with holiday and weekend rotations.
• Willingness to perform on-call shifts up to four weeknights per 4-week schedule.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with scrub procedures and circulating in a surgical environment.
• Prior trauma or Level I trauma center experience highly desired.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic charting system.
• Ability to work flexible block schedules upon manager’s approval.
