Job Title

• Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 13-week contract, Night shifts (4x12-hour shifts per week, 19:00 – 07:00), on-site

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity care to post-operative and medical-surgical patients on a 28-bed unit
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver personalized patient care within established protocols
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress using Epic electronic health record system
• Adhere to hospital policies including float policies and compliance standards
• Assist in maintaining a safe, efficient, and compassionate environment for patients and staff

Required Qualifications

• Valid State RN license (pending licenses accepted if in-hand by Wednesday before start date)
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Epic experience is required for charting and documentation
• Ability to float within scope of practice as needed
• Must meet travel compliance requirements (Tier2), with proper RTO and vacation plan communication at submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Past experience in medical-surgical and telemetry units
• Knowledge of post-operative care and high-acuity patient management
• Familiarity with hospital policies and licensing regulations in Virginia
