- Registered Nurse (RN) – IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Location
- Columbus, OH
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shift (3x12-hour shifts per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care within the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Maintain a patient ratio of approximately 1 nurse to 5 patients
- Perform IV starts and monitor telemetry systems
- Document patient information accurately using electronic medical records (Epic)
- Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
- Offer support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adhering to safety and compliance standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU or similar setting
- Valid Compact or State RN license in hand at the time of submission
- ACLS/BLS certification required
- Strong telemetry monitoring skills and IV start experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records system
- Experience working in a hospital setting within Ohio or similar jurisdictions
