OB Surgical Technologist – Travel Contract
Location
Anchorage, Alaska
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide surgical technologist support within a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&E, D&C, tubal ligations, vaginal repairs, and hysterectomies
- Work collaboratively alongside RNs and other clinical staff in a variable-acuity environment
- Operate and maintain GE equipment in accordance with unit standards
- Document patient care activities accurately using the EPIC electronic health records system
- Float to other units as needed based on census levels
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in a labor and delivery setting
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel assignment experience in an OB or surgical setting
- Familiarity with EPIC documentation systems
- Experience with GE obstetric or surgical equipment
