Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: June 30, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 84-bed Neonatal ICU/NSCU setting with patient ratios of 2:1 (NICU) and 3:1 (NSCU)
• Perform and assist with procedures including IV therapy, whole body cooling, surgical cases (NEC, PDA, CVC), PDA ligations, high frequency ventilation, and chest tubes
• Operate and monitor unit equipment including Medela, Alaris, Ohmeda, Drager, and Philips/GE ECG systems
• Document patient care accurately using Neonatal Notes Manager and Meditech EMR systems
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Charge CNC Nurses, Unit Secretaries, and Respiratory Therapy staff
• Support family-centered care principles and deliver an exceptional patient and family experience

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care NICU hospital experience
• Active Kansas RN licensure
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level IV NICU experience
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Previous travel assignments at large teaching facilities
