• Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location
• Great Bend, KS
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Nights (7pm - 7am)
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, responding to any abnormalities.
• Administer medications and perform necessary procedures in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality maternity care.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Support new parents and provide education related to postpartum and neonatal care.
Required Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Valid Kansas nursing license.
• BLS certification (must obtain within first two weeks of employment).
• ACLS certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (must obtain within six months).
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification (must obtain within one year).
• PALS certification (must obtain within six months).
• Willingness to work rotating weekends, holidays, and be on-call as needed.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous labor and delivery or maternity nursing experience.
• Strong fetal monitoring skills and neonatal care knowledge.
• Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergency situations.
