Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time
• Days & Nights, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours/week with overtime available
• Self-scheduling with flexibility to accommodate team needs
• Every-other weekend requirement (can also choose to work either Saturday or Sunday, with balancing shifts each month)
• Minimal on-call duties
• Rotating holiday shifts (every-other holiday)
• Potential to float to other units within scope of practice

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care in a hospital setting under department management
• Conduct assessments, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality outcomes
• Adhere to scope of practice, policies, and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (compact or KS license)
• Nursing degree from an accredited program
• BLS certification (additional certifications like ACLS & PALS can be obtained after hire)
• Entry-level position suitable for new graduates
