Travel RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting with an average patient ratio of 3:1
• Perform IV starts and medication administration, ensuring accurate patient and medication scanning per unit policy
• Assist with sedations and pediatric patient care using a team nursing approach
• Operate Alaris infusion equipment and document accurately within the Meditech EMR system
• Function effectively within a shift team including charge nurses, technicians, unit clerks, physicians, and midlevel providers

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care hospital Emergency Department RN experience
• Active RN license in good standing
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Prior travel nursing experience or experience working in a large facility Emergency Department
• Ability to adapt quickly and maintain performance in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Previous travel assignments at facilities with more than 52 beds
