Registered Nurse – Primary Care (Outpatient Clinic)

Full-Time | Direct Hire | Onsite | Days (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical services within an outpatient ambulatory care setting, collaborating with providers and clinic staff to ensure quality patient care and efficient use of resources.
- Offer leadership and direction to clinic staff, overseeing all aspects of clinic operations including front desk and patient care functions.
- Accurately and thoroughly document all care and services provided in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain medication inventory and supplies, and ensure required quality control checks are completed for Point of Care testing.
- Assist providers and staff by anticipating needs and communicating effectively across departments to support efficient patient care.
- Oversee the opening and closing procedures for provider clinics and maintain a clean, safe, and well-supplied work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current, full, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alaska or another U.S. state; direct hire candidates must have applied for an Alaska nursing license prior to start date.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Clinical Competency Assessment must be completed within 3 months of hire and renewed every three years.
- High Risk Competency must be completed within 3 months of hire and renewed annually.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties including standing, walking, and reaching for extended periods.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Familiarity with nursing process, infection control principles, and customer service best practices in a clinical setting.
- Proficiency with electronic health records, medical equipment, and strong oral and written communication skills.
