Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based, culturally relevant outpatient behavioral health treatment for individuals experiencing behavioral, emotional, and/or mental disorders.
• Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans utilizing trauma-informed care principles.
• Deliver individual, group, family, and marital therapy as appropriate.
• Perform bio-psychosocial assessments, care coordination, and crisis intervention services.
• Document all services accurately and promptly within the electronic health record, adhering to organizational and regulatory standards.
• Participate actively in a multidisciplinary treatment team to support client recovery and progress.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT); clinicians not yet licensed will receive supervision to meet licensure requirements.
• Valid Alaska state driver’s license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of behavioral health assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and evidence-based treatment techniques.
• Ability to assess suicide/self-harm risk and develop safety plans.
• Familiarity with federal and state reporting regulations and confidentiality standards.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with behavioral health assessment and diagnoses across age groups.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and substance use disorder interventions.
• Skills in crisis intervention, case management, and care coordination within a healthcare setting.
