Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (1730–0600) | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide, coordinate, and direct individualized comprehensive respiratory care to all patients based upon assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Function with a minimum of supervision once oriented, reporting to the Cardiopulmonary Director or Lead RRT in their absence.
• Practice within the full scope of practice of a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Perform procedures requiring auditory and visual acuity, including accurate blood pressure assessment and patient observation.
• Meet physical requirements of the Cardiopulmonary department, including lifting, pushing, and pulling as needed for patient care activities.

Required Qualifications

• Current Washington State license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull loaded equipment as required by the department.
• Auditory and visual ability sufficient to perform clinical procedures and patient charting.
• Must be a team player; any requested time off must be pre-approved and scheduled at the end of the contract.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong OB/obstetrics respiratory care experience highly preferred.
• Minimum one year of current acute care experience preferred; new graduates will be considered.
