Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Stepdown/IMC (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Nights, 13-week assignment, 12.5-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care to patients in the progressive care/stepdown unit.
• Monitor patient conditions closely and respond to any changes promptly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately.
• Assist with the transition of patient care and coordinate with healthcare professionals.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or multi-state licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Stepdown or PCU setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work night shifts consistently.
• CPR and BLS certification.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with pediatric or cardiac patients is a plus.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
