Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Job Title

• Emergency Room Registered Nurse

• Great Bend, KS

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts (12-hour shifts; 36 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care within scope of practice in the Emergency Room.
• Perform patient assessments, diagnostics, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver quality emergency services.
• Float to other units within scope when required.
• Participate in holiday and weekend rotations as scheduled.

Required Qualifications

• Nursing degree (ADN or BSN).
• Valid RN license in Kansas or a Compact State.
• Ability to obtain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through RQI after hire.
• Willingness to obtain TNCC certification within 6 months of employment.
• Entry-level position available; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous ER or acute care experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environment.
