Operating Room Registered Nurse

Location: Winston-Salem, NC

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 3 nights per week, 12-hour night shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room for surgical procedures
• Scrub and circulate for neuro spine, ortho spine, vascular, or robotics cases
• Assist in maintaining sterile environments and ensuring patient safety during surgeries
• Collaborate with surgical team members and follow protocols for efficient case flow
• Complete required documentation and post-operative care as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Valid NC or Compact nursing license
• Minimum of 2 years recent operating room experience in an acute care setting
• Experience as a circulating and scrub nurse in OR settings
• BCLS certification
• Traveler experience preferred (applicants with no travel experience may be considered)
• Ability to work nights and adapt to floating within/near the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Proven experience with neuro spine, ortho spine, vascular, or robotics cases
• Strong knowledge of OR systems including PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR
