Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (3x12-Hour Shifts, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM) | Every other weekend required; may exceed to meet unit needs
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU setting
- Monitor and assess the condition of critically ill newborns and adjust care plans accordingly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Epic EMR
- Adhere to facility policies, unit protocols, and compliance requirements throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to start)
- Minimum 2 years of overall RN experience with at least 1 year in NICU specialty
- Current BCLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
- LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days
- Must be willing to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submission; approval is based on facility needs
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an acute care hospital environment
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
- Experience in a high-volume NICU setting
