Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift – 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays As Needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a cardiovascular medical/surgical unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry and EKG readings for cardiovascular patients
- Manage a full patient ratio in accordance with unit standards
- Float to other units within the facility in an RN capacity as needed, assuming full patient assignments
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe, high-quality cardiovascular nursing care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must pass facility EKG competency test
- Cardiovascular nursing experience required
- Ability to float to any unit and manage a full patient ratio
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 or more years of RN experience, preferably in a cardiovascular or telemetry setting
- Prior experience in a cardiovascular medical/surgical environment
