Key Responsibilities
- Provide culturally relevant outpatient behavioral health treatment, including individual, group, family, and marital therapy.
- Conduct bio-psychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize trauma-informed care principles and evidence-based methods to support clients of all ages.
- Offer crisis intervention services, including after-hours support on a rotating basis across clinic locations.
- Coordinate care within the health system and with community agencies to ensure comprehensive support.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation within the electronic health record in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) preferred; active supervision provided for those not yet licensed.
- Valid State of Alaska Driver’s License or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Knowledge of behavioral health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with behavioral health assessments and diagnoses across diverse populations.
- Ability to provide risk assessments and develop safety plans.
- Familiarity with state and federal confidentiality and reporting regulations, including HIPAA and Medicaid.
