• Full-time, Days shift, 1 shift per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a Medical Surgical setting in accordance with organizational policies and standards.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety.
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes, and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and facilitate smooth transitions.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records accurately and timely.

Required Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of Alaska.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Clinical competency within 3 months and every 3 years.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS are advantageous but not required at hire.
