Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Night Shift)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care within the Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, with a focus on renal patients requiring dialysis or other kidney-related treatments
- Float between units and hospitals as needed to support staffing demands
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nephrologists, primary care providers, and hospitalists to deliver comprehensive renal care
- Adhere to all clinical protocols and safety standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing or higher
- Active Registered Nurse license in Alabama or a Compact State (No temporary licenses accepted)
- BLS or Red Cross CPR certification
- At least 2 years of nursing experience, with recent (minimum 1 year) experience in renal or medical-surgical/telemetry nursing
- Proficiency with Meditech electronic medical record system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-acuity renal or dialysis setting
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong clinical assessment and patient communication skills
