Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to all patient populations for therapeutic purposes
- Perform bedside diagnostic procedures as needed
- Review and maintain respiratory care plans for assigned patients
- Conduct patient evaluations and adjust care plans appropriately based on findings
- Serve as a preceptor for students and new hire staff
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Current Indiana State license for Respiratory Care Practitioners
- Current CPR certification
- ACLS and NRP certifications required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer
- Must be able to be on call and able to lift up to 30 pounds
Preferred Experience / Skills
- PALS certification
- Stable certification
