LVN / LPN – Medical Surgical / Renal (Travel Contract)

Contract (13 Weeks) | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Travel

Key Responsibilities

• Perform IV starts and administer IV therapy as ordered
• Provide wound care and utilize drainage devices appropriately
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and implement individualized care interventions
• Manage central lines in accordance with unit policies and safety standards
• Administer blood products per established protocols
• Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals and unit-specific guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active LVN / LPN license in good standing
• Current BLS certification (required; candidates without will not be considered)
• Minimum of 1 year of medical/surgical nursing experience
• Ability to comply with dress code requirements: navy scrubs, closed-toe shoes, and appropriately covered tattoos

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech electronic health records system
• Familiarity with renal patient population and related care protocols
• Working knowledge of National Patient Safety Goals
