Contract | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-Hour Shifts) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays As Needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
- Perform accurate and timely documentation using EPIC electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Float to other units as required based on staffing and patient census needs
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards throughout each shift
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of strong Telemetry nursing experience
- Proficiency with EPIC charting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Cardiac step-down unit experience
- Comfort and flexibility with floating to other units as needed
