Travel RN – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a cardiovascular operating room setting throughout the duration of the travel assignment
• Assist surgical teams during cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to sterile technique
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory, accreditation, and facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Texas or a compact state
• Minimum of 1 year of CVOR experience
• Current BLS certification; ACLS may be required
• Ability to work 10-hour day shifts beginning at 6:30 AM
• Willingness to fulfill a 13-week travel contract

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a cardiovascular or surgical specialty
• Familiarity with cardiovascular surgical procedures and related instrumentation
• Experience working in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma or cardiac surgical environment
