Key Responsibilities

• Provide licensed practical nursing care to an elder population in a skilled nursing setting, including residents with dementia and behavioral health diagnoses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and paranoia
• Perform skilled charting, COVID-related charting, and other required documentation, with the majority of skilled charting completed during the day shift
• Work alongside a medication aide during the first portion of the shift; function as the sole nurse on duty during remaining hours
• Follow block scheduling with holiday coverage expected when holidays fall within your contracted schedule
• Complete facility-specific orientation including a tour, competency assessments, and the opportunity to shadow 1–2 shifts

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN or LVN license in good standing
• Proficiency or ability to learn PCC (PointClickCare) EMR
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts on a block schedule
• Availability for every other weekend
• Must live at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard contract rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
• Experience working with geriatric populations, including residents with dementia
• Familiarity with behavioral health patient populations and associated care protocols
