Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring for patients recovering from surgical procedures including craniotomies and orthopedic surgeries
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:1 depending on patient acuity and condition
• Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Participate in on-call rotation with a required 30-minute response time when on call

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing (Kansas licensure or compact eligibility required)
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PACU RN experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Ability to fulfill on-call obligations with a 30-minute response time

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Flexibility with scheduling and hours
• Experience caring for post-operative craniotomy and orthopedic patients
