Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Evening Shift (5x8) 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM | Rotating Weekends Required | Expected 72 hours per two-week period (traveler may be called off for one shift per two-week period)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform sterile processing functions including decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and trays
• Pick surgical cases and demonstrate strong supply knowledge across a high-volume environment averaging 65 surgical cases and 1,200 trays daily
• Support specialty service lines including Neuro, Ortho, Robotics, Pediatrics, Urology, General Surgery, and GYN
• Float to a sister campus as needed to support departmental staffing requirements
• Maintain quality standards within a teaching Sterile Processing department
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Sterile Processing experience required
• Active CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA certification required
• Valid state license or compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Must be willing to work rotating weekends
• Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submission; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic surgical instrument processing
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
• Prior experience in a high-volume or trauma-level surgical environment
• Self-motivated team player with strong attention to quality and instrument supply knowledge
