Position Title: Director, Pediatric Emergency Services

This 420+ bed acute care hospital has been providing comprehensive, high-quality, and cost-effective healthcare to the local community for over 25 years. Services include:

Women’s Center with high-risk OB, Level III NICU, and pediatric services

Advanced Brain & Spine Center with Comprehensive Stroke Center designation

Orthopedic Center specializing in advanced joint replacement surgery

Customized cardiovascular care, including open heart and vascular surgery

State-of-the-art imaging and endoscopy capabilities
-
Certified Level I Stroke Center and Accredited Chest Pain Center
Role Summary:
The Director of Pediatric Emergency Services leads operations for a 10-bed Pediatric ED serving approximately 40,000 patients annually. This role reports directly to the VP of Emergency Services and oversees 42 FTEs, including Clinical Nurse Coordinators.
Pediatric ED Overview:

No trauma designation

Daily volumes: 60–150 visits

Affiliated with a Level II Trauma Center

Level III NICU onsite

Comprehensive Stroke Center

Growing academic center with GME programs
Qualifications:
-
BSN required
-
Minimum 3 years of recent acute care pediatric ED management experience

Adult ED management experience may be considered
Proven leadership and operational management skills
Compensation:
-
Salary range: $92,664 – $139,006 (based on experience)

Annual performance bonus: up to 17.5% of base salary
