Job Title: Registered Nurse - LTAC

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Nurse. As a shift leader, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, utilizing the Nursing Process, and demonstrating critical thinking skills. Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures • Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care • Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education • Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available • Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in LTAC and vent/trach experience • ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association • KY RN license • 2 years recent LTAC and vent/trach experience • Ability to float to Kindred Louisville main campus
