About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Tech - Cath Lab/EP to join our team at Northeast Methodist Hospital. As a Tech - Cath Lab/EP, you will play a critical role in supporting our cardiac and electrophysiology (EP) diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with cardiac and EP diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Operate cardiac stimulator (Bloom) and use MacLab recorder
- Record, measure, and document patient data during various cardiac and EP procedures
- Provide scrub assist skills during cardiac and EP procedures
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate and efficient patient care
Requirements:
- 2+ years of hospital experience
- BLS certification required
- 2+ years of experience in EP scrub or related field preferred
- Experience with Meditech and MacLab documentation systems preferred
- Ability to float and work in a rotating schedule
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- EP scrub experience
- Cath and vascular procedures (diagnostic and interventions) experience
- Meditech experience
- Specialty/Unit certifications (RN/TECH)
