Job Title: Registered Nurse - NICU
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting. This is an 8-week contract position, working 36 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families • Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians • Monitor vital signs, track patient progress, and report any concerns or changes to the medical team • Educate patients and families on care instructions, medication management, and follow-up appointments
Requirements:
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state where the assignment will be made • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
