Job Type: Travel, 13-week assignment
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. As a travel Tech - Cath Lab/EP, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care in our state-of-the-art cardiac cath lab and electrophysiology department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of cardiac cath procedures, including diagnostic catheterizations, angioplasty, and stenting
- Conduct electrophysiology procedures, including ablations and device implants
- Collaborate with our team of physicians and nurses to ensure seamless patient care
- Utilize advanced technology, including MacLab and Meditech, to document patient information and track procedures
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in cardiovascular technology, preferably in a cath lab or electrophysiology setting
- Advanced skills in ACLS required
- BLS certification required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to on-call needs in a timely manner
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Work Details:
- Worksite: 10500 Quivira Road, Overland Park, KS 66215
- Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday
- 5, 8 hour shifts with on-call requirements for cath lab and stay late teams for EP
- Floating policy: closed unit, no floating outside CV Dept.
- Patient Experience requirements: none
- Hospital Specifics: Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
