Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide high-quality patient care in our Intensive Care Units (ICUs) and floors, utilizing your expertise in airway management, ventilation, and medication administration. Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory therapy services to patients in ICUs and floors, including airway management, ventilation, and medication administration
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and monitor patient progress
• Utilize various equipment, such as ventilators, oxygen therapy devices, and aerosol delivery systems
• Administer medications, including inhalers and nebulizers, as prescribed by physicians
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
• Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in ICU and floor settings
• Knowledge of Epic system and other electronic medical records
• Certification in Airway Management Devices/Suctioning
• Experience with Ventilator Management and ABG interpretation
