Join Our Team as a Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team at a Short Term Acute Care hospital. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in the success of our OR team, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operations, maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to hospital policies and procedures • Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures • Maintain accurate records of patient information, surgical procedures, and equipment usage • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure smooth and efficient patient care • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on latest techniques and technologies • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience in surgical technology, or completion of a surgical technology program • Ability to work flexible shifts, including 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Ability to pass a background check and obtain any required state licenses

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in outpatient, community hospital, ortho, neuro, and vascular surgical settings • Ability to work in inpatient, trauma, and other specialized surgical environments • Current national certifications in surgical technology
