Registered Nurse - Telemetry Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse - Telemetry and play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As a Telemetry Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while utilizing your expertise in cardiac monitoring and medication administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients with cardiac conditions, utilizing telemetry equipment to monitor heart rhythms and other vital signs • Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate dosing and administration • Participate in code blue responses and other emergency situations, maintaining calm and composed demeanor • Utilize electronic medical records to document patient information, updates, and progress • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and policies • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transitions and care coordination • Stay up-to-date on industry developments, continuing education, and professional development to maintain expertise and advance skills

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Massachusetts • At least 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience • Current AHABLS Certification • ACLS and AHA certification • Pass Telemetry Competency Exam • Current NM certification (optional) • Charge Nurse experience preferred • Ability to pass Dysrhythmia (20 questions) and Medication (20 questions) tests administered by CCH via Zoom
