Job Title: Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Type: Full-time, Travel

Shift: Monday - Thursday, 8AM-5PM, Friday 8AM-12PM

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Radiation Therapist to join our team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing radiation therapy to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed according to established practices and standards • Review prescriptions and diagnoses to ensure accurate treatment plans • Act as a liaison between providers and support staff to ensure seamless patient care • Prepare and maintain equipment, including immobilization devices, treatment, and protection devices • Maintain accurate records, reports, and files • Assist in localizing tumors and dosimetry procedures as needed

Requirements:

• Graduate of a Committee on Allied Health Education and accredited radiology program or equivalent • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) • Current American Heart –Basic Life Support (BLS) card • New Mexico licensure upon hire • 2-5 years of clinical experience preferred, including IMRT and LDR/HDR experience • Strong knowledge and skills in radiation therapy, with ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
