We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team of healthcare professionals. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their daily living goals and improve their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments and evaluations to identify residents' needs and goals • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote residents' independence and participation in daily activities • Provide hands-on therapy interventions, such as range of motion exercises, transfers, and adaptive equipment training • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records and progress reports • Participate in resident care conferences and discharge planning • Adhere to facility policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols

Requirements:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in the state of [insert state] • New graduates are welcome to apply; prior experience in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) is preferred • Recent COVID-19 test results with a negative result 72 hours prior to start date and a positive result issued 48 hours prior to start date • Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents as needed • Strong communication and teamwork skills
