We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team for a 13-week contract with a 36-hour guarantee. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their goals and recover from injuries or illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in conducting patient evaluations, assessments, and treatment plans • Develop and implement individualized exercise programs to promote patient progress and rehabilitation • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists • Educate patients and families on proper exercise techniques, mobility strategies, and home safety modifications • Participate in patient care conferences and team meetings to ensure comprehensive care • Perform various administrative tasks, including scheduling, billing, and data entry

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Studies or related field • Certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or eligibility for certification • Current licensure or certification to practice as a PTA in the state where the facility is located • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks • Strong organizational and time management skills
