Therapist - Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Therapist - Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans • Implement occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' functional abilities, mobility, and daily living skills • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to coordinate patient care • Develop, implement, and evaluate patient programs to promote independence, mobility, and participation in daily activities • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on occupational therapy techniques, strategies, and equipment usage • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessment data, treatment plans, and progress notes

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Studies or related field • 1 year of professional SNF experience (as per job order) • Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) or eligibility for certification • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with diverse patient populations • Basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
