We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in a 190-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. As an Occupational Therapist with our organization, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents, helping them to achieve their goals and maintain their independence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess residents' abilities and develop personalized treatment plans to address their occupational therapy needs • Conduct occupational therapy sessions, including activities such as range of motion exercises, transfers, and adaptive equipment training • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to develop comprehensive care plans • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on proper use of adaptive equipment and techniques to promote independence and participation in daily activities • Document resident progress and outcomes, and report to physicians and other stakeholders as necessary • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to occupational therapy services
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of [insert state] • [Insert any additional requirements, such as certification or experience]
