We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in the care and treatment of patients, helping them achieve optimal physical function and independence.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists with patient assessments, treatment planning, and implementation of exercise programs • Conduct patient evaluations, including range of motion assessments, joint mobility evaluations, and muscle strength assessments • Develop and implement individualized exercise programs to promote patient recovery and mobility • Assist with patient transfers, positioning, and mobilization • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care • Educate patients and families on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention, and post-discharge care

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Studies or related field • Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (CPTA) or eligibility to sit for the certification exam • 1+ year of experience in a physical therapy setting • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Basic life support (BLS) certification
