Job Summary

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Oceanside Center, you will play a vital role in helping our patients regain their independence and achieve their rehabilitation goals. You will work collaboratively with our occupational therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals • Develop and implement treatment plans that promote functional ability, mobility, and daily living skills • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions with patients, adapting treatment plans as needed • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans • Participate in patient education and training programs to promote self-advocacy and independence

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Studies from an accredited program • Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in the state of [insert state] • 1-2 years of experience in occupational therapy or related field • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Familiarity with rehabilitation software and electronic medical records
