We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. As a Therapist - Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with disabilities, injuries, or illnesses to develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct occupational therapy assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans • Implement and implement occupational therapy interventions, including activities, exercises, and adaptive equipment training • Collaborate with occupational therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care • Develop, implement, and evaluate programs to promote independence, mobility, and participation in daily activities • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and reports • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans and policies
Requirements:
• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Studies from an accredited program • Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in [State/Province] • [Number] years of experience in occupational therapy or related field (we welcome candidates with varying levels of experience) • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with diverse populations • Basic life support certification (BLS) and ability to lift up to [weight limit]
