Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments and evaluations to identify clients' needs and goals • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote functional ability and independence • Assist occupational therapists with therapy sessions, including exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment usage • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment plans • Maintain accurate records of client progress and treatment outcomes • Educate clients, families, and caregivers on proper use of adaptive equipment and techniques • Stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments in occupational therapy

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Studies or related field • Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) or eligibility to sit for the certification exam • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including children, adults, and seniors • Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with clients and their families • Basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
