Join Our Team as a Traveling Registered Nurse in Emergency Room
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Room at our Regional Medical Center. As a Traveling Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to float to other units and hospitals, providing high-quality patient care to a diverse patient population.
About the Role:
- Provide emergency medical services to patients of all ages, 24/7
- Collaborate with a highly trained team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to meet the needs of the community
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:1 for critical/trauma patients and 1:3-4 for other patients
- Contribute to a 54-bed state-designated Level III Trauma Center and Level II Stroke Center, treating over 60,000 patients per year
Requirements:
- Associate degree in nursing
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Alabama or Compact license
- Current certifications in:
- AHA ACLS
- AHA BLS
- AHA PALS
- NIH OR RED CROSS accepted
- TNCC
- SECURE
- 2 years of experience; however, we will consider 18 months of experience and 1 year of experience in the field of specialty
- Willingness to float to other units and hospitals, with a commitment to 36 or 48 hours per week

Duration and Schedule:
- 13-week assignment
- Projected start date: August 18, 2025
- Projected end date: November 15, 2025
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
