Job Title: Tech - X-ray/Rad Tech

Join Our Team as a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a Tech - X-ray/Rad Tech, you will play a vital role in conducting imaging exams for patients in emergency, trauma, and surgical situations. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic imaging exams for inpatients, outpatients, emergency, and trauma patients • Perform imaging exams in surgical or sterile environments using fluoroscopy with a C-Arm • Conduct portable exams, both within and outside the imaging department • Operate various imaging equipment, including Carestream, GE, Philips, and OEC Surgical imaging equipment • Use computerized patient charting system-EPIC and image data Change Healthcare PACS • Follow specific instructions from providers on imaging procedures and guide patients through the imaging process safely and comfortably • Collaborate with providers to determine whether additional images are required

Requirements:

• Will consider new graduates • Perform patient intake by collecting medical history and answering patient questions • Operate imaging equipment proficiently • Demonstrate knowledge of proper imaging techniques (positioning and technical factors) in special populations • Have a firm understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the human body

Certifications and Licensures:

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) • IEMA (Imaging Equipment Maintenance and Awareness) • BLS (Basic Life Support)

Work Environment:

• Main Department: Inpatient diagnostic rooms (5), portable units (6), Panorex unit • Emergency Department: Fixed rooms (2), overhead mount Trauma rooms (2), portable units (2) • Surgery Department: 11 C-arms, 2 O-Arms, 2 portable units • Outpatient: 3 rooms

Schedule and Shift Requirements:

• Work with other Mission partners; never alone • No on-call requirements • Weekends and holidays covered on a rotating basis

Dress Code:

• Scrub attire: solid or printed top and pants, closed-toe shoes without holes • OR attire: wear own clothes, change into hospital-provided scrubs
