Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive health histories and physical assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized plans of care • Prioritize patient problems and needs according to the actual/potential threat, ensuring timely and effective interventions • Develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care, including discharge planning and referrals as needed • Manage life-threatening complications, maintaining airway and ventilation, hemodynamic stability, and stable heart rhythm • Stay current on concepts, trends, scientific advances, biomedical equipment, and ethics relating to Critical Care Nursing, updating knowledge and clinical skills on an ongoing basis • Participate in mandatory education and annual competency fair to maintain licensure, certification, and registration • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care • Perform temporary pacemaker insertions and ambulance transports as needed

Essential Qualifications:

• Current licensure, certification, and registration as a Registered Nurse • Current certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) or equivalent • Experience in ICU or critical care setting • Strong assessment and prioritization skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
