Job Title: Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in a dynamic Short-Term Acute Care facility. As a Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown, you will provide exceptional patient care, work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care • Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, and utilize Rapid Response Teams as needed • Manage peripheral lines, nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, and portable oxygen tanks • Perform non-invasive airway management and implement isolation precautions • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans • Utilize Cerner charting system for accurate and efficient documentation • Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and standards of care

Requirements:

• 1.5 years of experience in IMC/PCU/Stepdown or related specialty • Current BLS certification • In-state license required; must be in hand prior to start • Ability to work 8, 10, 12, and 3 shifts, including major holidays • Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• IU Health requires all in-state RNs to obtain licensure prior to start date; exceptions apply to Periop/OR RNs, Allied, and Ambulatory RN travelers • Travelers must be willing to work 2/3 major holidays
