We are a charter school in Marco Island, FL, serving 350 students and seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. As a SLP, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students, providing individualized support and therapy to help them reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions with students to address communication and swallowing disorders • Develop and implement treatment plans, including goal setting and progress monitoring • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students • Assess students' communication and swallowing abilities, identifying areas of strength and need • Provide consultation and support to teachers on classroom strategies and accommodations • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communication with parents/guardians
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited program • State of Florida certification as an SLP (CCC-SLP) • 1-2 years of experience working with children (ages 5-21) in a school setting • Strong clinical skills, assessment, and treatment expertise • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Flexibility to work 5-8 hours per week, with potential for virtual sessions
