Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team at Carthage Rehabilitation. As a Therapist - SLP, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve optimal communication and swallowing skills. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and address communication and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote speech, language, and swallowing skills • Provide evidence-based interventions, including articulation therapy, language development, and swallowing rehabilitation • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and physicians, to ensure comprehensive care • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry advancements

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution • Clinical certification or licensure as an SLP (CCC-SLP or equivalent) • 1+ year of experience in speech language pathology, preferably in a rehabilitation setting • Strong assessment and treatment skills, with the ability to work with patients of diverse ages and needs • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams • Ability to maintain accurate records and document patient progress

Working Conditions:
