We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the highest quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met throughout the perioperative period. • Collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, surgical procedure, and post-operative needs. • Conduct pre-operative assessments, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and patient education. • Participate in the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient operating room experience. • Monitor patients' progress during and after surgery, identifying any potential complications and implementing corrective measures as needed. • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to organizational standards. • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in State/Province • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Operating Room nursing • Certification in perioperative nursing (CPON) or equivalent • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Basic life support certification (BLS)

Desired Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) or similar setting • Certification in a specialty area (e.g., CRNA, CNL) • Bilingual or multilingual skills
